A note about Mafia
When we created Mafia 1 for re-release, we used the game’s original source code, and with that code comes the game’s original bugs. One of these issues occurs for users on Windows 7, XP, and Vista: When a player has completed a handful of missions and quits the game to the desktop, they will receive a message that says “Game.exe has stopped responding.” This will not cause you to lose any save files or progress and will not happen for everyone, every time. However, if you do get this message, don’t be alarmed – you won’t lose anything! Consider it a vintage bug from a classic game.
