A DELI IN EMPIRE BAY

Just as the apartments of characters in Mafia II change over time, so do the shops and restaurants around the city. In the case of the deli Martin Zavrel explores today, that change was not for the better.

Deli: Before

This is just one of the many interactive locations within Empire Bay. You can come in, sit down, order your favorite food and drink and listen to some songs on the Jukebox or to the background noise of chatting customers. For the purpose of showing off the environment we quickly snuck in before the place opened.

Deli: After

Maybe someone hadn't been paying protection money on time or a customer happened to be in this deli at the wrong time -- either way, once the Mafia makes a hit, things get difficult for everyone involved. As you can see, all of the decoration, furniture, kitchen equipment is smashed to pieces. From the smallest coffee cup to the tables and chair, everything has fallen victim to the gangsters' wrath.
